V-for-Veronica

My last few Halloweens have been very different from each other. This year: no decorating, no costume, just one bag of candy to share with my classmates in Oceanography. Actually, there are those things, but only in Pet Society on Facebook. teehee!

That’s alright though, I’ve been thinking about bigger things. My boyfriend is going to visit for Thanksgiving! He’ll be meeting my dad and brother for the first time. I am so excited! I’m going to invite over a few friends and cook my mom’s dishes for dinner and… well, I will explain more next month when it’s more appropriate. ^_^

If you’re wondering what’s with the horse picture, well, earlier this month I went to visit an old friend who has herself a ranch with over 20 horses! I love braiding horse hair, so while everyone else brushed her down, I did this. ^_^ I also brought Poochie to the ranch, so he had a good time getting scared by the horses. Ever since that day, I’ve been daydreaming about living on a ranch with my own horse or two one day.

Let’s see… The last thing I will mention in today’s post is that my friend Sierra is preggers! She didn’t want kids, but she decided to go ahead with this one. And she’s engaged now to the baby daddy. lol He’s a good guy. I hope I can fly over there for the baby shower or birth–she still lives in Florida, where I met her and roomied with her for almost a year.
